Hey Guys, I know a lot of you wanna make some request on how to improve and make bidshot really THE BEST ... which i know ... the best talaga .... para lalong maging astig ang dating? Meron ba kayong suggestion dyan? For me, sana mayroong option na number of times visited yung item mo? Para you can track if maraming nag visit sa Items mo? At for sure .. gaganahan yung mga seller na laging bantayan ang kanilang items and for sure dagdag kaligayahan din sa mga sellers na feeling nila .. laging binibisita yung kanilang items? just like in Ebay .. may ibang items dun makikita mo kung ilan na ang nag view ng items nila? ... Pede kaya? hmmmm Calling Shotgun ... woody  |

Hmmm very good topic Woodie  [glow=red,2,300]Suggestions on improving Bidshot my own opinion[/glow] 1. Sana if a BUY NOW is indicated and you started on a reserve price not met then somebody bid in an incremental amount lower in the reserve or reserve is met, dapat di na-di deactivate yung Buy Now . In these case BUY NOW amount should always be higher than the starting amount. 2. Yung sa feedback, sana may statistics na kung ilang feedback sa unique users. 3. Yes tama si Woodie, dapat may number of times visited yung pages yung item na sale ng seller 4. And for some Bogus users lets say like DiabloZ na may neg 10 feedback, dapat di na sila naka-kapag bid or disable na account nila, or magiging active lang sila kung hihingi sila ng public apology mismo sa Bidshot or sellers in written/email explanation. 5. May option sana na bidding by proxy , parang sa ebili na di basta basta na-o-outbid or yung amount na binid mo will be kept in secret until a higher amount was entered by a bidder. 6. SPEED - i think this is technical in nature, and i know BIDSHOT technical support group are doing their best to fine tune their system especially access to their large database. 7. yung sa size ng file attachment ng pictures pwede kaya hanggang 100K ang limit?, and yung sa Title ng Item sana mahaba - haba rin Naku baka magalit na sa akin yung programmer ng Bidshot  , marami rami yatang program enhancement ito a ( he he he). For me IMHO (in my humble opinion) ... 40kb is alright ... coz kawawa naman yung ibang members na mahina ang connection? it will take years to load ;D .... Isang dagdag pa eh yung Item Description1. Kung pedeng mag lagay ng BOLD or 2. Kung pedeng mag lagay ng ITALICS3. Or any HTML codes or YABB Codes .. just like here in our board?  woody |

We brought this before.... do you think it might be a little unfair for people who just want to bid and do it the the slow way? 2. Never tought of that... it's now on my list 3. please check my reply to woody 4. As a normal rule, users with more than 3 are blocked and not allowed to bid or use bidshot... in the case of DiabloZ i'll ask Richie what happend. Sorry about that 5. It would be difficult to merge the idea of Proxy Bidding with SMS bidding... we tried to, pero naubos brain cells naman 6. How slow is for you guys? We used to hosed in the US (unstable because of our SMS functions are 'state-of-the-art') then In-house (super slow connection) and now were hosted in Globe Telecom. Access is okay naman from our end.. naka Eastern DSL kami. 7. 100K might be to big most users are on a dial-up so babagal ang loading time  Actually, our pending list is already 3 pages long.. and to think it's just a bullet point listing of new and improved funtions and features... naku dumami pa! Hhehehe! Okay nga eh! There's nowhere to go but up! Woody: We used to allow HTML, pero magulo paminsan since people would try to do codes na mali-mali ang format or style ka ang pangit ng ibang posts Nice and well said shotgun , now we know that BOA technical team are doing their best to serve us better Another addendum (kung possible lang naman), 1. sa MyPage sana ay i-allow yung users na idelete nya yung items na hindi na-sold, and eventually from time to time may email reminder from Bidshot sa mga users to delete items that are not being sold or pag di nadelete i-pu-purge automatically lets say every 6 months, so freeing up records and eventually speeding-up access sa database. 2. Sana may option to repost items that are lapsed just one clicked and option to originally edit items parang sa ebili para mabilis yung posting. IMHO, Joey |

Hi Shotgun, May mga situation pala minsan na di na-te-text kung na-outbid ka or you've won in the auction and sometimes when you communicate to a certain user either buyer or seller (let's say di mo alam cellphone no. nya and I will use the reply button to text ng Bidshot) there are times na di na-re-receive yung txt , i have 3 cases na ganito, buti na lang minsan they have auctions sa BOA and i used the messageboard to communicate There are also times na bumabalik sa akin yung message What supposed to be the cause of these problems, is it SMS related problem sa Globe/Smart/TNT or technical in nature sa system? Just last night and early this morning my emails to Bidshot CS were undelivered (notice of failure delivery)-Bidshot's mail server acting up but problem was resolved with alternative email address given by Bidshot CS at 2330911. Yup, I do have to admit that the biggest bug we have right now is the SMS notifications to the winners and sellers - yung "...reply to this message to contact seller/winner".
If you'll notice today, we've temporarily changed the message to say "... please check your email for more info".
Guys, my apologies. It's an internal application problem that will be fixed this month. Thanks for the support.

the items are posted according to active and inactive auctions.
mahirap kasi to look through it especially if you've sold a lot of stuff already

Yes, I do agree that having a reverse auction is good... but I have some reservations: a. Bidshot will be flooded with 'looking for....' ' wanted...' maybe even more that true forward auctions. b. If reverse auctions are allowed, it would be more of a swap meet than auction site. c. monitoring and security for the members may be be very difficult. d. bidshot will have a lot of 'off line' transctions... which will not look good to our investors |
