Improving Bidshot. What do you suggest?

The pending job for the feedback page so far are dividing the feedbacks (it takes a while to download 100++ feedbacks of a user) and marking if the feedback was given by a bidder or seller (just like ebay).

we know limited ang messageboard, sana may option na magsend ng private message or email ang isang user kung mahaba-haba ang tanong nya (parang sa ebay), sometimes kasi di nag-re-respond yung seller ka-agad eh. Kung pwede lang naman

Hi Shotgun,

Another thing, since there are situations na matagal pa matapos ang auctions, sana may facility sa Bidshot na i-tag yung item na i-remind kaming mga interested users na malapit nang mag-end yung auctions and kung ano na ang status or kung yung seller i-ko-close na nya yung item kahit di pa kami nagbi-bid, the reminder will be a txt msg and have a facility to bid using SMS sana, the same thing na parang na-outbid notification.

There are times kasi nalilimutan din namin na mag-bid specially kung masyado ng naging busy at nakalimutan nang mag-log-on sa Bidshot

- just a suggestion, still thinking and finding ways to improve Bidshot.

We are currently formulating new additional services for you guys so that it would be much easier and convenient for all of you to use BidShot inspite of your hectic schedule. As of the moment all I can suggest for you guys if ever you want to check out the status of a certain auction is to use our SMS query.

To check the status (current bid, highest bidder, etc.)
Message: ? (single question mark)
Send To: 2330+item no. (Globe users)
example : 233091010081883
or
2439+item no. (Smart and Talk 'n Text users)
example : 24391010081883

I'll keep you all posted with regards to any developments on BidShot's Improved Functions, alright. ;D

I did as Richie suggested though there were instances some items I'm interested in and made my initial bid that I forget to make my final bid at auction end date specially when I'm busy with my work or on a Sunday out w/friends or family. When I finally remebered, it was too late-auction has ended I was outbid by only P10.00..I remember the Microsoft Optical Mouse sold by ditoyeagle na outbid ako ni smokie-nalaman ko huli na-I was then in Cubao. didn't make my last final bid to outbid her. SAYANG!!!!!!

I agree with Joey's suggestion based on experience I encountered. If seller ended auction earlier than end date Bidshot would have informed those who made their bids that auction is closing early so make bids now to outbid the current bid price. Sana ganoon din if the auction is going to end na ;D

BUG Report :

1] I also experience na pag nag-a-aadd ako ng items, then may nakalimutan ako (location, payment terms etc.) then may error na lalabas na incomplete yung information mo, when you try to correct incomplete information, yung ibang na-encode ko nawawala na like image, and yung pinili ko sa auction type kailangang ulit i-reselect ,

2) and pag na-abutan ka ng connection time-out e.g more than 15 minutes ka na sa description na nag-ta-type, then you click ADD Item , dapat preview muna ang lalabas di ba, but unfortunately lalabas yung username and password mo (cguro nag-lapse na yung session info connection sa server), upon entering the correct info
yung ti-nype mo sa description and other info mawawala na( ang work-around for the meantime is type the description in MS Word, then copy and paste sa Description Box sa BIDSHOT), for ordinary users surely they will be irritated by re-typing it again.

I hope BIDSHOT could resolve this minor bugs.

Gumagana ba yung WATCHDOG sa BIDSHOT anyone have tried it on?, meron kasi akong watchdog before na inilagay and when the item is already available na sa BIDSHOT, it does not notify me? So it seems there is a problem on these feature

Just tried out the watch dog last week kaya lang when the item was posted again by the seller I was not notified. There could be technicalites involved though I'm not in the position to know. The item I was interested in before it ended was titled INTEL DIGITAL CAMERA. When it was reposted again by the seller titled na as DIGITAL CAMERA (INTEL). This could be the reason why the Watch Dog didn't work as intended to. Our friends at BOA Customer Support perhaps could help us on the problem;)
