Since you keep bragging about your positive feedback, let's see your item history. It's full of pirated dvd's. Since you mention that your one of Bidshot's top bidshooters, kaya pala isa ka sa mga under investigation for piracy. Sayang you were not able to read the thread posted by "Nostradamus" regarding you being under surveillance by the Videogram Regulatory board as well as others who has a lot of history of selling pirated and pornographic materials. Since you keep bragging about your feedbacks, i think your feedbacks will be use as evidence against you. I was a able to send a private message to "Nostradamus" regarding that matter and here is his reply:

Hi HackerJack and Jepp14, I can't help but share my opinion on these matter but i want to stay neutral as possible, positive feedbacks should not be the basis for the judgement on these case, as feedbacks reflects only successful selling and buying activity for a different person, and these are perception of different users on a different situation, in the case of Hackerjack and Jepp14, these are different scenarios but sad to say a bad deal. For both of you (HackerJack and Jepp14) always think the end results of this discussion either WIN WIN or both of you will just deserve a LOSE - LOSE situation. Think of a way to settle nyo ito ng ma-ayos, di rin maganda tingnan na may awayan dito sa forum, di na tayo mga bata para mag-awayan, and auction is a small world, always move on and look forward for a better deals. Always forgive and forget thats the best virtue and humble way to solve these problem. Just my humble opinion, Joey

also, mr. john ray, i haven't sold any pirated dvds for a loooong time.... have you checked my recent postings? have you checked the date of purchase on my feedbacks? i have already stopped selling pirated dvds ever since bidshot warned me on those items. you're barking at the wrong tree here, sir.... ang hulihin nyo yung mga supplier, hindi yung mga poor sellers (like the ones raided at quiapo and greenhills) yung ulo ang putulin nyo, hindi yung mga galamay... ang hirap sa inyo yung mga malalaking tao hindi nyo mahuli, puro retailers, ano yun? pa pogi points? if you're really serious, hulihin nyo yung mayayaman na nagsusupply. huwag po kayong magalit pero, pero sana sila unahin nyo hulihin, kung wala sila, walang mabebenta retailers. yun naman ang tutuo di ba? yung mga retailers sa quiapo, greenhills, at iba pa, maliliit lang puhunan nyang mga yan, wag sila pagdiskitahan nyo, kilala nyo naman kung sino mga BIG fish dyan eh.... or kulang din kayo sa political will??? again, i wish you could do something about them......

i checked the website of the council to combat piracy.. was that jinggoy estrada i see on the picture? the same jinggoy estrada charged with plunder?
another thing, is there a law against owning pirated materials? napanuod ko kse si bong revilla last week nad he said there is no existing laws to prosecute the buyers.. what if the ones you sold at bidshot are your personal properties (eventhough they're pirated)? could you be held for that? what about those who downloaded free music on the internet, then sold them, are they liable too? are they considered pirated? kse if they are, kelangan natin ng maraming kulungan, kse millions of people will be jailed.... is there a number of pirated or non vrb approved cds na you could sell without being held liable? sorry, i'm not very familiar regarding these laws.... i hope someone would enlighten me and other members......

how about region 1 dvds, they don't have vrb stickers, are they considered pirated? can't you sell them? e kung wala ka namang store... wala ka na ba karapatan ibenta yung mga pag aari mo? how about the pc/ps2/cd games sold everywhere? they are not original, aren't they? are they considered pirated as well? how bout vhs tapes that are just recorded? are they pirated as well? what if you buy original movies, make three copies of them, then sold them... would you be held liable?

Technically, everything that's bootlegged is illegal. However, here in the Phils. those who can "only be held liable", are the ones pirating items/materials which have been licensed to be distributed here in the Philippines. The reason I said that they are the only ones who can be held liable, is because court proceedings require money, and only big time distributors who are suffering in their sales because of their material being pirated, can withstand the financial requirements demanded by such measures. And besides, usually, it's the big-time pirates who are targetted more because if the company who sues the pirates win their case, they can file another lawsuit claiming damages that can be worth millions, and ofcourse, small-time pirates, or in Bidshot users' case, "personal bootleggers", most probably don't have that much money, and therefore are "worthless". Even if they pass more bills and laws protecting the copyright holders, the same rules still apply. They will be needing both time and money to file their case unto court. Additional laws will just mean that their cases will have a stronger foothold and therefore, are more inclined to win. But basically, the essence of wasting time on small-time bootleggers still leave it's mark. If they decide to form a special committee though which will solely focus on stopping piracy, then the government will be the one to fund this endeavor. Therefore, all one just needs to do is point a finger, and the gov't will do the rest from there, and hence, it will also be possible for small-time pirates to be given attention.
