Dudes!!! Since you're using Internet to access this forum - what's your ISP, either post-paid or pre-paid? What can you say about it? Positive or Negative comment/s will be appreciated! Thanks!

Sa opis libre naka T1 LAN kami sa AIG, pero pag sa bahay lang, im using any cheap prepaid cards like yung Ocean Isle and OMEGA, naka sale sila ngayun 100 pesos for 8 hrs and buy 1 take one so overall its 16 hrs for 100 pesos, Great deal di ba? ;D nung wala pa sila sale im using ISP Bonanza, thats 30 hrs for 250 pesos. Meron akong naencounter na prepaid na BLAST, nung pag-gamit ko ay di na ako naka-konnect, i don't know why, and nung nag-email ako sa customer support, sabi nila ay gamit na raw yung nabili kong sealed na prepaid, kaya di na ako bumili ng BLAST after that

I agree with you Aldrin! Here in San Francisco, AT&T's DSL service rulezzzzzzzzzzzzzz! E usong-uso pa naman dito yun radio ay you hear thru streaming audio. Very cool! Sarap talagang gamitin! ;D ;D ;D Dyan sa Pinas ay user ako ng Pacific Internet - libre from my wife's company, unlimited kaya lagi di akong naka-on line dyan dati.

My first ISP was NET ASIAsince 1996 up to present. I also signed up with PACIFIC INTERNETthough not anymore as their rates are expensive and magulo ang billing nila with regards to my advance payment. QUIK INTERNETcame next though the company folded up early last December-natalo ako dun coz advance payment for 8 months just disappeared into thin air,NET SURFERS CLUBnagsigned up din ako for their P2,999.00 unlimited for 1year promo with free CDs tho not anymore.
Tried out prepaid accounts too like PHILWORLD, TRI-ISYS, THE CAFE, CBCPNET (natalo din ako dito dahil bankrupt and to think that sa simbahan pa ito:( , OCEAN ISLE, MEGA, INSTANET -sorry to say na walang kuwenta mga ito-kung hindi mahirap magconnect napakabagal parang pagong!
OK ang BLAST, QWIK AXESS,GOTCHA, INTERNET ONE, FLASH INTERNET, PACIFIC INTERNET, QUICKWEB (So far the best among the prepaids I've tried)
NOW AOLna ako. Though technical problems do happen, I'm more at ease and satisfied-mas mabilis compared to the other prepaids Only P600.00 per month for unlimited access-darn cheap!! In fact I just downgraded yung plan ko with my first ISP - Net Asia - to the lowest para lang sa emails.

Inquired with PLDT that I would be paying a Transfer fee if ever I'll be changing my address and that would be another dent in my pocket. In the meantime, I'll just stick with the good old dial up

1. Pacific Internet - (1996-1998) - overcharge prices are too high but their customer support is okay. Pag tawag mo, may aksyon kaagad. 2. Sky Internet - (1998-2001) - ang mahal mahal ng over charge, ang bagal naman ng connection. Di totoo yung commercial na 2x faster or whatever. Typical dial up speed sometimes even slower. 3. PLDT MyDSL(2001 up to present) - Since not all places in Las Pinas are DSL capable and undergoing pa ung project, Laging may service interruption and there's always a problem sa "continuity" ng network. I hope the PLDT engineer's can fix these as soon as possible coz your paying that high and yet service is not as expected especially those sa customer support. Laging busy o ayaw sagutin ang phone once they know that something is wrong with their network or service.

My first was w/ Laguna Internet, dial-up 33.6kbps via PLDT (1995-2000) ---very slow! 2001: Digitel dial-up 56kbps, better than the previous. 2002: Digitel DSL ;D (quite expensive tho' 4.5k /month) I think it is more expensive here in the province...

I also use PLDT's myDSL and it's fast enough. Although napansin ko this rainy season na mas malakas ang ulan, masmabagal ang connection. Hmmm, grounded kaya mga lines I hope maayos to ng PLDT cos i'm not getting the speed that i paid for

;D - ISP Pre-Paid kasi cheep and mabilis kahit paano. - Rebel tuwing makakakuha ako ng free samples from my friend who works there... - other prepaids are OceanIsle, Blast, Pacific Antipolo kasi wala pang DSL or Cable service... kenis.
