Tanong lang, balak ko kasi bumili ng VCD Mini-component. Ano ba ang mas maganda, yung cd-changer na umiikot o yung parang tray-type (hindi ko alam kung ano tawag don)? At saka balak ko Panasonic para medyo mura kaysa Sony... ok din ba yung brand na yon?
salamat sa makakabigay ng liwanag sa naguguluhan kong pag-iisip!

Wag kang bibili ng tray type na umiikot!!! super sirain yung ganyan type of model.
try to get the one that has individual trays for each disc. mas matibay yun pre!!
God bless! and happy hunting!

kung audio cd's lang ang papakinggan. not too much of a plus to get surround.
audio cd's kasi are basically recorded in 2 channel stereo. so that means you will be getting the same sound from those 2 extra surround speakers as the 2 main front speakers.
yung lang nga may tumutunog din sa likod mo. basically, not worth it unless kaunti na lang talaga ang dagdag.

Hey Unforgiven, Kung bibili ka rin lang ng Mini Component. Why not Buy a Pioneer DVD Mini Component ... for sure .. kaya rin nyang mag play ng any type of CDs like, VCD, SVCD, Audio CD etc ..... Sayang kasi ang pera kung bibili ka lang ng VCD .... Or buy mo yung Pioneer Home Theater In a Box ... mas maganda ... para naka 5.1 Channel ka na ... (2 Front Speakers, 2 Surrounds, 1 Center Speaker, and 1 Subwoofer) ... plus may Receiver ka na rin. Dolby Digital and DTS pa ... woody ;D P.S. One good example of a mini component is (see below)
With a powerful AV receiver at its core, the HTP-210 system delivers both high-octane home theater and multi-channel music. For home theater, the VSX-D510 AV receiver features Dolby Digital and DTS decoding, and delivers 100 Watts of power to each of five channels (namely, the system's speakers: two front speakers, two rear speakers, and a center channel speaker). These speakers are designed to work with one another and they're acoustically matched, to reproduce all of a movie's soundtrack detail. And, an 8", 100-Watt self-powered subwoofer delivers the deep bass critical to movie soundtracks and music as well. The HTP-210 features superb reproduction of CD's and it's also capable of reproducing DVD-Audio, an emerging, multi-channel music format that surpasses the CD in sound quality. A pre-programmed AV remote is included for controlling the system (including a satellite receiver). And, because the HTP-210 is designed as a system, set-up is easy. yes, i agree to achtungbaby, i suggest 4 you to buy pioneer, kenwood or philips, jvc
ang sony kasi mapili ng cds, yung iba ayaw gumana ng pirated, check mo sa pinoydvd.com under sources marami nang feedback regarding sa mga players, if you have budget i try mo nang bumili ng dvd component like pioneer or philips

e paano kung vcd ang ipi-play ko? kasi balak kong bilhin yung may vcd player na mini-component e. alam ko pag DVD maganda yung may mga surround speakers... pero pag vcd ba may pagkakaiba?? VCD is also recorded in STEREO kaya same reasoning sa audio cd applies. sympre the best pa rin nga yung DVD set-up kung affords mo. okay ang PIONEER hindi mapili sa disc. kahit pirated binabasa ( not that any of us buy pirated, of course) ;D ;D ;D parang yung ina-advertise ni pareng woodie sa taas. hmmm.... meron kaya sya niyan binibenta ;D ;D

i recall before yung SONY na mini compo ko. MHC V777AV, five speakers, Dolby Pro-Logic, kaso nakakabitin lalo na pag natikman ng mga senses mo ang DVD. ang laki ng diperensya. VCD VS. DVD? mag DVD ka na. baka masayang lang pera mo kung bibili ka ng VCD mini-compo then later on matutuwa ka sa DVD sayang yung nagastos mo sa VCD mini-compo mo.
yan e advice lang naman.... ;D

PRE, OK NAMAN ANG ALTERNATIVE BRANDS NA MENTION. BUDGET MO LANG ANG MAJOR CONSIDERATION. SUGGEST KO RIN IF YOU'RE GOING TO GET A VCD SYSTEM. NOT WORTH IT MAG SURROUND SOUND. IF YOU CAN AFFORD 30-40K MAG DVD SYSTEM KA NAPIONEER IS A GOOD BRAND TO GET FOR DVD PLAYER (DI GANUN KA MAHAL, AT DI MAPILI SA DISC) IF LOW LANG ANG BUDGET MO FOR THE HOME THEATER SYSTEM TAKE A LOOK AT YAMAHA PACKAGES (RECEIVER + 5.1 SPEAKER SYSTEM) THAT INCLUDES THE RX-V620 RECEIVER. MUKANG OK NA YAN FOR YOUR REQUIREMENTS
